Showing that it’s usually easier to get your books from a library than buying them from a big store like Amazon.com, the folks at 43 folders resurrect an oldie but goody bookmarklet: go to Jon Udell’s LibraryLookup web page and create an Amazon.com bookmarklet for your browser. Once done, search for a book in Amazon.com, click the bookmarklet to search the ISBN number in your library’s catalog and, if you’re lucky, get a result.
This is a simple but useful bookmarklet, and you can find more–and make your own–at places like the Make Search Bookmarklet Tool page. Bombasto!
