Off to an Oregon lodge!

mount-hood.jpgI’m co-presenting with two fellow librarians on how we use Library 2.0 goodness with our collection development practices at our library for the Acquisitions Institute conference at the beautiful Timberline Lodge in Oregon on May 19th. The lodge was built in 1937 and sits midway to the summit of Mount Hood at an elevation of 6000 feet. Mount Hood is 11,239 feet high.

I put together a wiki of our presentation process using one of my favorite wiki sites: Wetpaint. Wetpaint’s WYSIWYG format allows for easy editing and page management, and it’s a snap to set up and maintain. We’re hoping our wiki will be a helpful addition to developing good collection management practices with L 2.0 concepts and that it proves useful beyond this conference. It’s gonna be fun!
